Courtney Saint Alexander Ellis is the CEO of Wellsolutions Consulting and Coaching (wellsolution.weebly.com) and a native of Newark N.J. and a military veteran, who began practicing martial arts in 1973 at the age of 8.  Mr. Ellis served in both the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman and United States Army as a Medical Specialist (military corpsman) for a total of 23 years; he began teaching martial arts in 2000 to his fellow service members as another form of military unarmed combat instruction.   Courtney started his career as a personal trainer in 1997 while stationed in Okinawa Japan, and later in the Army.  Courtney began training the special populations which consisted of soldiers who where not meeting the Army weight standards, as well as rehabilitative therapy, prenatal and postpartum programs. Mr. Ellis was also a clinical supervisor for the base medical clinic, as well as the fitness and wellness coordinator for the department of clinical investigations wellness program. Mr. Ellis holds both indoor and outdoor fitness programs as well as a private fitness and martial arts classes and also teaches martial arts at the Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church under Dr. Richard O. Knott 7th Dan as well as the YMCA in two locations.  Mr. Ellis holds a 5th Dan in Chung Do Kwan Taekwon-do and 1st, Dan, in Kukkiwon Style Taekwondo; He has also studied Tang Soo Doo, and various forms of Kungfu and Karate, along with training in military hand to hand combat training. Ellis is also a Department of Defense police officer.  Ellis is currently a federal police officer and still teaches martial arts
