Will I receive ACE, AFAA or NASM cec's for completion of certification courses?

If you purchased the ACE, AFAA or NASM $19.99 CEC add-ons at time of purchase of a Fitour Certification, the CEC Certificate will be available for you to print from your account with Fitour under "ce course credits" If you did not purchase the $19.99 CEC add-ons at time you purchase the Fitour Certification, you can submit a support ticke for a link to purchase after you have accessed and passed the Fitour Certification exam.

Please Submit a Support Ticket and we'll be happy to help you determine if the Fitour Certification exam is eligible for the ACE, AFAA and/or NASM $19.99 CEC add-ons and if so send you the link to purchase the $19.99 CEC add-ons you wish to purchase.

Which Fitour Certifications Eligible for CECs?

The Fitour Primary & Advanced Group Ex Certifications & Fitour Personal Trainer Certifications are NOT eligible for ACE, AFAA or NASM CECs

The Fitour Primary & Advanced: Indoor Cycling, Aqua, Barre, Suspension, Bootcamp, Nutrition, Active Aging & Myofascial Certifications are eligible for the $19.99 ACE CEC Add-ons

The Fitour Primary & Advanced: Pilates, Indoor Cycling, Barre, Bootcamp, Myofascial, Suspension, Yoga, Nutrition, Active Aging & Aqua certifications and the Core, Kickboxing, Group Barbell, Step & Stability Ball Certifications are eligible for the $19.99 AFAA & NASM CEC add-ons

The CEC Add ons for ACE, AFAA & NASM cecs with Fitour Certifications are $19.99 and are to use towards a renewal of an ACE, AFAA or NASM Certification you may hold.

Purchased a Certification or CEC Course with Exam for another person

I received a FiTOUR Double Book. How do I complete the examination for the other course?

Fitour sends the 2nd maual in the double sided manual as a promotion to promote additional education with Fitour. If you choose to take the other Fitour Certification, you can purchase that Fitour Certification Exam for $49.99 at www.fitour.com/save

How do I Purchase & Obtain a Fitour ACE, AFAA and/or NASM CEC Course?

How do I Obtain & Maintain a Fitour online/inhome Certification?

1) Purchase a Fitour Certification at http://www.fitour.com/

2) Once purchase is made you will have access to the online study manual and the online video. The video follows along with the manual. The study materialsare located in My Account > Study Center. Also, the online exam will drop into your exam center to access in your account with Fitour.

3) We encourage registrants to complete the course within 90 days of registration if possible. However, you do have one full year to complete the course and exam from date of purchase.

4) When you are ready you will take the online certification exam log into your Fitour acct, then click on > Exam Center.
The exam is a timed 3 hour exam with 100 questions, true/false / multiple choice, and must be completed within the consecutive
three hours. YOU CAN NOT START & STOP THE EXAM.

5) Once you take and pass the exam, you can print the certificate yourself or have Fitour mail you a certificate by logging into My Account at www.fitour.com, then go to Certifications and choose certificate option.

6) Exams can only be taken one time, if you do not pass with a 75% or higher on your first exam you will have the option to purchase a retest, 2nd exam, for $25.00. All RETESTS must be purchased within 6 months of original exam taken.

7) If you purchased the ACE, AFAA or NASC $19.99 CEC add-ons, once you access take and pass the Fitour Certification exam, your CEC certificate will be available for you to print from your account with Fitour under "CE Course Credits".

8) Certifications must be renewed every two years by taking a Fitour online Renewal course & exam for $25.00. Renewal information is available at http://fitour.com/renewal.

9) Fitour Certifications are Nationally recognized, but it is always up to each facility who they want their instructors certified through. I encourage you to contact any organization/facility to confirm approval for prior to registering for any FiTOUR course/certification.

Can I take the Advanced Certification before the Primary?

Fitour encourages customers to take the Primary before the Advanced. The Advanced Certifications build off the Primary. (If you have little to no knowlege of the content of the Primary Certification, you will be lost skipping to the Advanced since the Advanced builds off the Primary)

Are FiTOUR Certificaton courses accepted at all fitness facilities?

Fitour Certifications are Nationally recognized, but it is always up to each facility who they want their instructors certified through. I encourage you to contact any organization/facility to confirm approval for prior to registering/purchasing for any FiTOUR Certification Course.
