How do I Renew my Fitour Certification?

 FiTOUR® Certifications must be renewed every TWO YEARS.   Below is how to renew your Fitour Certification:

  1. Login to your account with Fitour click on "renewals"  within 90 days prior to the certification expiration date and up to 6 months after renewal date. Certifications will not be available for renewal until 90 days prior to the expiration date. You may check the expiration date(s) of your certification(s) by logging into your account.   
  2. If you do not  purchase, access and complete the renewal course exam for renewal within this time frame,  you will no longer be able to access your renewal course to renew.  
  3. Login to your your account with Fitour within 90 days of the expiration date (and up to 6 months after the expiration date)  and visit the Renewals page to purchase the $25.00 renewal course.
  4. Once you have purchased the renewal course, you can access the FiTOUR® Continuing Education Credit Course and exam in your Exam Center. 
  5. All FiTOUR® Renewal examinations consist of 25 multiple choice and true/false questions. Note, exams can only be taken one time. If you do not pass with a 75% or higher on your first exam you will have the option to purchase a retest, 2nd exam, for $25.00.  Retest must be purchased within 6 months from date of original exam taken or will no longer be available to purchasae.
  6. The renewal course exam has a 3 hour time limit. Once the exam begins, the 3 consecutive hour time limit will begin to expire. You can NOT Start and stop the exam.  
  7. Once you successfully pass the renewal exam, you can log into your account with Fitour, visit the Certifications page, and print your certificate of certification with the new expiration date. The date will be two years from date of completing the renewal exam.  The date on the new certification certificate is the date you accessed and passed the renewal exam to renew.
  8. If you fail to renew a FiTOUR® certification within six months after the date of expiration, you will need to recertify. In this case, the cost of the 100 question certification exam will be $49.99 (this is the certification exam and does not include study materials). You can retake the certification exam by purchasing the certification exam only for $49.99 at www.fitour.com/save. If a minimum score of 75% is not achieved on the examination, a retest is available. You may retest as many times as necessary. The fee for each certification retest examination is $25.

How do I & how often do I renew my FiTOUR Certification?

FiTOUR no requiere la finalización de créditos de formación continua para la renovación de la certificación. Para renovar, simplemente inicie sesión en el centro de exámenes dentro de los 90 días de la fecha de caducidad (y hasta 30 días después de la fecha de renovación) y complete el examen de renovación de 25 preguntas. Una vez finalizado el examen, la renovación de un certificado actualizado estará disponible para su impresión una vez que haya iniciado sesión en la sección Mi cuenta de www.FiTOUR.com.
