FiTOUR® Certifications
Are FiTOUR® Certifications nationally recognized?
FiTOUR® has certified thousands of fitness professionals
since its beginning in 1992. FiTOUR® employs over
35 Master Trainers that present workshop certifications
as well as promote our in-home certifications.
Why are your certifications so inexpensive?
We are able to maintain a very affordable price point
for all of our educational materials because of the
quantity of business that we generate. Our courses
are so popular because we offer an in-home and workshop
format.
How do I receive a refund?
In-Home Option-Study ALL MERCHANDISE BEING RETURNED
FOR REFUND MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE
ORDER DATE. MERCHANDISE ARRIVING AFTER 10 DAYS OF
THE ORDER DATE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR FiTOUR® STORE
CREDIT ONLY.
Workshop Option-NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CANCELLATION.
FiTOUR® vouchers will be issued to participants unable
to attend. A request in writing for a voucher must
be submitted to FiTOUR®.
How long will it take to receive my official certification
certificate after sucessful completion of an in-home
or workshop certification course?
The official certificate will arrive within 28 days
after sucessful completion of the examination.
How long is my certification valid?
The certification is valid for two years from the
date that the certificate is issued. The expiration
date will be printed on the official certificate.
How many continuing education credits must I obtain
to renew my FiTOUR® certification?
NONE! FiTOUR® does not require CEC's for renewal.
Simply complete the 25 question review examination
in your area of certification and your certification
is renewed!
How much is the renewal fee?
The renewal fee must be paid within 90 days prior
to the certification expiration date. The fee is ONLY
$25!
FiTOUR® Certification Examinations
How many questions will be on the FiTOUR® certification
examination?
All FiTOUR® examinations consist of 100 multiple choice
and True/False questions.
What is the pass rate of the FiTOUR® certification
exam?
The examination will be graded automatically and the
results will be provided immediately after completion
of the examination. If a score of 75% or higher is
received, an official FiTOUR® certificate will arrive
within 21 business days to the address submitted during
registration. If the score is lower than a 75%, the
participant will be given the option to purchase a
FiTOUR® Retest for a fee of $25.
FiTOUR® In-Home Certifications
Is the official certification certificate different
for an in-home certificaion?
The official certificate provided upon completion
of an in-home certification course is exactly the
same. There is no differentation on the official certificate
between an in-home certification and a workshop certification.
How long do I have to complete the course once I
have registered?
The final examination must be completed within 90
days of registration. There is a $10 fee to reinstate
the examination for the program.

FiTOUR® On-Site Workshop Certifications
What is the difference between a certification workshop
and a continuing education workshop?
A certification workshop will provide you with the
knowledge to teach a specific discipline. You will
be provided with the appropriate certification certificate
at the completion of the course once the exam has
been passed. The FiTOUR® continuing education workshop
is for the purpose of obtaining continuing education
requirements necessary to renew a fitness certification.
At the completion of the workshop, you will be provided
with a certificate for proof of attendance.

the on-site certification workshop?

What should I bring to the workshop?
Yourself, a water bottle, towel, notebook, Pen, *FITOUR®
Study Manual and be ready to learn and move!
*FITOUR® Certifications Include Free FITOUR® Study
Material with $7 shipping & handling fee. Fitour
can not gaurantee receipt of study materials unless
you register online 14 days prior to Certification
Date. Other shipping options will be available when
you register on-line @ www.fitour.com. The material
in the official FiTOUR® Study manual will be referenced
frequently during the certification workshop.
Can I register at the door?
Yes, simply bring a check or credit card with you
and register prior to the workshop. (The FITOUR® free
study material with $7 shipping & handling fee,
will be shipped after workshop weekend)
What should I wear to the workshop?
Come ready to workout!
How many CEC's do I earn for attending a FiTOUR Workshop?
FiTOUR® provides a different amount of CEC's for any
given workshop depending on the complexity of the
workshop. To view specific information about cec's,
click here.
When and where will I take the certification examination?
The certification examination will be taken online
within 4 weeks of the day of the workshop. The examinations
will be graded automatically and your score will be
immediately available upon completing the exam.
Is the study material required when registering for
a FiTOUR® Certification workshop?
The study material is an additional $19.99 (plus $7
shipping) and is not required but STRONGLY encouraged
by our master trainers. Click here to purchase the
certification study materials.
FiTOUR® Continuing Education
Where is the course reading material for the Enhanced
Lower Body Design CEC Course (FREE course)?
The course reading is not sent via mail. It is available
once logged into the exam center. Once logged in,
click the Start Course Now link. You will then be
able to view the reading and answer the exam questions.
How long will it take to receive my CEC certificate
after sucessful completion of an in-home or workshop
CEC course?
The CEC certificate will arrive within 28 days after
sucessful completion of the examination. (please note,
participants of a CEC workshop will receive the CEC
certificate immediately after the conclusion of the
workshop.)
How many ACE and AFAA CEC's will I get for FiTOUR®
Workshops and courses?
All FiTOUR® CEC workshops are ACE and AFAA approved.
A majority of the FiTOUR® Certification workshops
are AFAA approved and many of the FiTOUR® workshops
are ACE approved. Please note that no in-home certifications
are ACE or AFAA approved.
