Barbara has over fifteen years experience as a group fitness instructor. She began her teaching career in Boston, MA as a low-impact instructor and soon expanded her repertoire to include step, spinning, kickboxing and Pilates. She is currently an executive coach and fitness instructor in Delaware. Prior to this she was an Instructor in the Exercise and Sports Studies Department at Smith College in Northampton, MA.
Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Psychology. She also coached women’s crew at the university level.
Barbara’s fitness philosophy can be summed up this way: people over five feet tall should be able to lift their suitcase into the overhead compartment without assistance from nearby passengers. A fit lifestyle has many benefits!
