I received the wrong study material. What should I do?

FiTOUR has designed an innovative form of study material we refer to as the FiTOUR Double Book. Before you assume that you have received the incorrect study material, please flip the book over and make sure that the book is not a FiTOUR Double Book. If you have confirmed that the study material is not a FiTOUR Double Book, please contact us via our online support system and we will schedule an order that will include the correct material immediately.

How do I receive a refund for an order placed at www.FiTOUR.com?

In-Home Option: ALL MERCHANDISE BEING RETURNED FOR REFUND MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE RECEIVING THE ORDER. MERCHANDISE RETURNS ARRIVING At FiTOUR® WAREHOUSE AFTER 10 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF ORDER DATE WILL ENTITLE THE CUSTOMER TO FiTOUR® STORE CREDIT ONLY. Workshop Option: NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CANCELLATION. FiTOUR® vouchers will be issued to participants unable to attend the workshop for which he/she registered. A request in writing for a voucher must be submitted to FiTOUR® in order for a customer credit to be issued. A $25.00 fee will apply and will be deducted from the originally paid registration amount. I have not received my order and it has been over six business days. What should I do?

Please submit an inquiry via our online support system that includes the order number for the order in question. We will track the shipment and determine the cause of the delay. Once the cause is determined, we will take the appropriate action and issue a replacement immediately if necessary.

I returned an order and have not yet seen a credit appear on the credit card statement. What should I do?

If the merchandise is received within 10 days of receipt of the order, a credit will be issued to the credit card used for the order. Merchandise received after this time period are eligible for store credit only. If the order has been returned within the time period required for a refund, please submit an inquiry that includes the order number and we will determine the cause of the delay.

Are there any on-site workshops/certifications in my area?

Do I have to purchase the exam or is it included with the certification registration?

Everything you will need to complete the certification course/workshop is included. The study material and examination are included in the registration price. All course examinations are completed online and are available for completion once logged into the Exam Center located at www.FiTOUR.com.

I received a FiTOUR Double Book. Do I have to complete both courses?

No, you must complete only the course(s) that you have registered for. If you wish to register for the other course(s) that may be included with the book, please follow the directions in the middle of the book that divide the two content areas.

How long do I have to complete the course examination once I have registered?

The course(s) examination(s) must be completed within 12 months of registration. There is a $10 fee to reinstate the examination for the program if the deadline expires. Please note that if course material is updated after the 12 month period, the updated study material is available at full price.

How do I renew my FiTOUR certification?

FiTOUR does not require completion of continuing education credits for renewal of a certification. To renew, simply login to the Exam Center within 90 days of the expiration date (and up to 30 days after the renewal date) and complete the 25 question renewal examination. Upon successful completion of the renewal examination, an updated certificate will be printed and delivered within 7-10 business days. Note, you will receive email reminders beginning at the 90 day point prior to the expiration date.

How do I access my FiTOUR certification renewal exam?

To access the renewal examination, please visit the Exam Center located at www.FiTOUR.com within 90 days of the expiration date. Once logged in, you will have access to complete the 25 question renewal examination.

I cannot remember my login information. How do I retrieve this information?

Your email address will be used as the login. To retrieve your password, visit the Exam Center or My Account section of www.FiTOUR.com and click the link titled “ Forgot your password? Click here to have your password emailed to you “. Please enter your email address and your password will be immediately sent to the email address on file.

I purchased a certification course for someone else other than myself (employee/spouse/child). How does the registrant access the examination?

The registrant who will be completing the course examination must login to the Exam Center located at www.FiTOUR.com using the ORIGINAL email address and password created when registering for the course. Once the examination is completed, the test taker will enter the name that should appear on the official certificate, as well as, the shipping address. The name on the account, however, will remain the same as the ORIGINAL registrant. Please submit an inquiry via our online support system with details if you wish to change the name on the account.

How do I complete my course examination? Do I have to go to a facility to complete?

All course examinations are completed online and are available for completion once logged into the Exam Center located at www.FiTOUR.com. Your examination grade will display at the conclusion of the examination.

How long does it take for my certificate to arrive once I have completed the course?

The official certificate will arrive within 7-10 business days following completion of the examination. In the meantime, a temporary certificate is available for printing once logged into the My Account section of www.FiTOUR.com.

It has been over 7-10 business days and my official certificate has not yet arrived. What should I do?

In this case, it is likely that the certificate was “lost in the mail”. Please submit an inquiry via our online support center with the details and we will issue a replacement certificate.

My Internet connection failed while answering the examination questions. Will my answers be saved?

Yes, the answers will be saved. If you experience a connection issue when taking the course examination, simply log out and reconnect your computer to the Internet. Once back online, login to the Exam Center and resume the examination.

How long do I have to complete the course examination?

The allotted time to complete the course examination is THREE hours.

How many questions are on the FiTOUR® certification examination?

All FiTOUR® certification course examinations consist of 100 multiple choice and True/False questions.

What is the pass rate of the FiTOUR® certification exam?

The examination will be graded automatically and the results will be provided immediately after completion of the examination. If a score of 75% or higher is achieved, an official FiTOUR® certificate will arrive within 28 business days at the address supplied to FiTOUR® during registration. If the score is lower than a 75%, the participant will be given the option to purchase a FiTOUR® Retest for a fee of $25.

What should I bring to a certification workshop?

Please bring water, a towel, a notebook, a pen and your FITOUR® Study Manual, and be ready to learn and move! FITOUR® certifications include FREE FITOUR® Study Material and several customer options for shipping & handling. FITOUR® recommends ordering study materials more than 14 days prior to the workshop date. The material in the official FiTOUR® Study manual will be referenced frequently during the certification workshop.

Can I register at the "door" for a certification workshop?

Yes, simply bring a check or credit card with you and register prior to the workshop. (The FITOUR® free study material will be shipped after the workshop-shipping and handling fees apply).

Why are your courses not approved by ACE?

As of January 1, 2009, ACE has changed their policy for ACE approval. ACE will no longer approve any courses that are not accredited by NOCA. FiTOUR is currently accredited by the American Council on Fitness Education, as well as, is seeking accreditation from other more appropriate organizations than NOCA. As a long time ACE partner, it is unfortunate that ACE has made this policy change but continue our crusade to provide quality, affordable fitness education to our industry.

Are FiTOUR Certificaton courses accepted at all fitness facilities?

Although FitOUR is a Nationally Recognized certification organization, this decision is made by each individual fitness facility. Please check with the fitness facility you plan to work with prior to choosing your certification organization.

Will I receive cec's for completion of certification courses?

The majority of our certification workshops are approved by AFAA for CEC credit. Please visit our FiTOUR Workshop at http://fitour.com/workshops.cfm pages to see specific CEC credit for each certification course.

I received a FiTOUR Double Book. How do I complete the examination for the other course?

Since you received the other set of study material free with registration, you may register for the other examination by submitting an inquiry to our support team. The cost for the examination is $65.
