About the Coach Certification Programs

Becoming a nationally certified sports coach in your area of specialty will only improve your coaching knowledge and help to eliminate negative issues from arising during your particular season(s).
All sports coaching certification courses have undergone rigorous program evaluation by health and fitness professionals such as Physical and Occupational Therapists, Physician's Assistants, Teachers, Principals, Coaches and other professionals with a fitness certification. The American Council on Coaching certification courses are completed from the convenience of your own home!

How Does it Work?

• Purchase the coaching certification course and receive the official study materials in the mail
• Review the study material (2 official sports coaching textbooks provided free with registration) at your own pace
• When ready to complete the final examination (online), login to the Exam Center and complete the 100 question coaches certification examination
• When finished, your examination score will be displayed immediately
• If you score of 75% or higher, you will receive your official American Council on Coaches, Coaches Certification.

Who should complete the courses?
The coaching certification courses are offered at various levels. Realizing that the levels of coaching are very different, we have developed courses for the "weekend coach", as well as, the full time coach at a high school or university.
